Review: Samsung ML-2571N
Manufacturer: Samsung

Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price: $199
Street Price: approx: $150
The Samsung ML-2571N is a cute little black and white laser printer with a tiny footprint. In addition to being one of the smallest laser printers we've seen yet, it's also very affordable -- perfect for the home office.
The Samsung ML-2571N delivers great performance for less than $200. It boasts fast print speeds, printing pages of text faster than 15 pages per minute. The graphics output is excellent and the text printing nice and sharp, although the printer seems to print somewhat lightly.
The paper tray takes up to 250 sheets of regular printer paper, which should last quite a while for the average home office user. It also takes legal size paper as well.
We did have some problems trying to print on envelopes, as the printer was somewhat finicky and it was hard to get the exact output we wanted.
One other issue to note is that this printer comes with only a "starter" toner cartridge, which only lasts 1000 pages or so. After that, you can buy a full capacity toner cartridge on your own, which will run you roughly $80 and should last about 3000 pages. To be fair to Samsung, almost all printer manufacturers ship their laser printers with only starter cartridges these days.
In terms of setup, you can easily connect the printer to your computer using a common USB port, which every computer has these days.
For the price, the Samsung ML-2571N is an excellent little printer and we highly recommend it to any home business owner on a budget (and which home business owner isn't?).
